Title: HOLIDAY HAM SLICE WITH CINNAMON APPLE RINGS -

1 1" thick fully cooked ham
-slice (about 2 pounds)
1/4 ts Hot sauce

MMMMM--------------------CINNAMON APPLE RINGS-------------------------
24 Whole cloves
3 md Cooking apples; unpeeled,
-cored and cut into 1/2"
-rings
2 c ;water
1 c Red cinnamon candies
1/2 c Sugar

: Slash fat along edges of ham to prevent curling. Spread hot
sauce over surface of ham, and place in a lightly greased 13" x 9" x
2" baking dish. Bake at 325F for 25 minutes or until meat thermometer
registers 140F. Transfer to a serving platter; serve with Cinnamon
Apple Rings. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.

CINNAMON APPLE RINGS:
: Stick cloves into apple rings. Combine water and candies in a
large skillet; bring to a boil, stirring until candies dissolve. Add
apple rings; reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or just until apple
rings are tender, turning several times. : Remove apple rings from
skillet. Add sugar to skillet, and bring to a boil; boil 3 minutes.
Pour syrup over apple rings, turning to glaze both sides. Cool
slightly. Yield: 8 servings.
