Crunchy Oven French Toast

1 1/2 c Skim milk
2 tb Honey
1 ts Almond extract
4 lg Eggs or 1 cup egg
-substitute, light
2 c Crushed whole grain wheat
-flake cer
16 sl White bread
1 Cooking spray
1 c Maple syrup
Preheat oven to 425. Combine first 4 ingredients in a shallow bowl;
stir with a whisk until well blended. Place crushed cereal in a
shallow dish.. Quickly dip both sides of each bread slice in milk
mixture; dredge in cereal.
Place bread slices on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake
at 425 for 5 minutes. Turn bread slices over; bake an additional 5
minutes or until golden. Serve warm with syrup.
