Almond Cookies (M_c-tx)

      Title: ALMOND COOKIES (M_C-TX)

      Yield: 15 Servings
 
  2 3/4 c  Flour
      2 tb Milk
      1 c  Sugar
    1/2 ts Baking soda
      1 c  Butter
      1 ts Almond extract
      1    Egg (beaten)
           Sliced or slivered almonds
 
  Thoroughly mix all ingredients together. Roll dough into 1 inch balls
  (or rounded teaspoons) onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with
  thumb. Top with almonds. Bake at 325 for 8-10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
